The regular school calendar has been revised to make up the days missed on December 18th and February 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th due to inclement weather. The following days are now REGULAR school days.
March 5 (regular day to make up for the snow day on February 3)
April 2 (regular day to make up for the snow day on February 5)
May 31 (regular day to make up for the snow day on December 18)
June 10 (regular day to make up for the snow day on February 1)
June 11 (regular day to make up for the snow day on February 2)
For information regarding changes to calendars for Eastfield Elementary or McDowell Early College due to inclement weather please contact those schools directly.

McDowell County Schools' Dropout Documentary McDowell County Schools' dropout committee has worked for two and a half years to address the barriers to graduation and to identify and address reasons why students drop out of school. While recognizing that many excellent programs were already in place, the committee sought out new answers to this old problem.
